Start your first day of the trip to Quang Uyen District, a remarkable locality in Cao Bang Province. Afterward, make a short stop in Thai Nguyen City for deeper cultural insight into the Museum of Ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
In the afternoon, get ready for arrival at your local homestay located in the heart of an incredible incense-making village, home to the Nung tribal community. Spend the rest of the day at your own pleasure to explore the whole tribal village and learn about the day in the life of the indigenous natives. If time permits, freely join in an exciting hiking trip up to the peak of a nearby mountain for an absolute panoramic view during sunset.
Your second day of the excursion is saved for a full day biking trip to discover off-beat attractiveness along the hidden trails.
The day makes it a great chance to meet local peasants working on their fields, who will welcome you with the warmest greetings. The picturesque landscape will undoubtedly take your breath away with its utmost tranquility.
On the third day, make a farewell to Quang Uyen for a further adventure towards Ban Gioc waterfall, a sensational natural attraction known as the fourth largest border waterfall in the world and the biggest natural waterfall across Southeast Asia.
Over here, chance to sail upstream on a bamboo boat for a closer look at the waterfall. Other than that, this is where you can admire the magnificent border with China across the river.
The day ends with a visit to Nguom Ngao Cave, a typical feature of Northeastern limestone topography with a huge vivid gallery of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
The third day finishes with a transfer back to Cao Bang City.
Your fourth day of the journey begins with an exploration at a local wet market in Cao Bang City before heading further to Bac Son Valley.
During noontime, you will arrive at Quynh Son Village for a pleasant lunch around after take a short stroll afterward to learn more about the daily life of the Tay ethnic minority.
One last activity of the day is to reach the foot of a mountain by car. This is where you will have a mountain climbing trip to the summit, where the dramatic panorama of the whole valley gets into your vision.
The last tour day starts with a breakfast followed by a 3.5-hour hike on a rural back road. Along the way, you can have a closer look at the local farms, enjoy the serene atmosphere in a good harmony of mountains, forests and native lives.
When noontime arrives, you are picked up in our private transport and head back to a local household for lunch before driving back to Hanoi.
