River Life Adventure In Mekong Delta

After breakfast, take the boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the spectacular Mekong River.

End up next at Cai Rang floating market, the most bustling spot of the region. Have you tried the Vietnamese vermicelli noodle? If not, then get ready to admire the magical process behind how each strand of noodle is produced.

After that, trek along the village to get in touch with the local people. Here, chance to see Monkey bridge which is built by only one bamboo. Leaving the village, back the riverside, time for lunch. After lunch, transfer to Chau Doc. On the way, stop at Long Xuyen to visit Crocodile farm if time permits.

After an early breakfast, visit a village of the Champa ethnic people with Muslim mosque and towel-weaving technique.

Then continue to Chua Xu Lady Temple (Temple of the Holy Mother of the Realm) at the foot of Sam Mountain. The site is listed as one of the holiest places in the country, where every year, Vietnamese make their pilgrimage here for praying. According to the old tales, she was the one to bring good luck, health and happiness to those who pay respect and worship at her temple.

Leave the temple to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, an incredible topography renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of various flora and fauna species. Take a boat trip into the forest and harmonize with nature. The impressive pictures of Cajuputs, the fragrance of flowers, the songs of birds, insects and animals will surely make you never want to leave.

From the observation tower, the whole forest view with an area of nearly 900 hectares gets into your eyes. This is home of a huge range of bird and animal species, including some of the rarest types.

Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant before saying goodbye to Mekong Delta and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
